The Boston Celtics have started the season 2-0 and things have already clicked. The Celtics had a fantastic first game against the New York Knicks in which they had great showings from both Kristaps Porzingis and Jayson Tatum. Both players ended up scoring over 30 points and the game was sealed with a clutch three from Porzinigis with less than 2 minutes to go. The Celtics then played Miami two days later and had another fantastic victory this time at home. The starters combined for 111 points which is something we haven’t seen in years and it solidified that the Celtics having depth problems shouldn’t be too much of a concern. The star power of this Celtics team has proven its worth. The entire bench scored eight points in this game which was proven to be enough.

Now that it is clear that the Celtics starting lineup is already gelling perfectly they may be the favorites to win the finals. The ball was moved very well as everyone on the team shot twelve shots or more proving doubters wrong that this team has too many ball dominant players. Not only have the Celtics looked really good so far, the Milwaukee Bucks had a very disappointing game last night. The Bucks ended up losing to the Hawks by 17 and Damian Lillard ended up finishing 2/12 from the field. The Bucks have not proven yet that the combination of Lillard and Giannis is better than the star power of the Celtics starting five. Due to Boston outplaying Milwaukee so far in this season the Celtics have shown that at least for now they are the favorites to come out of the east.
