Guns Strike Gold

NJPW’s Rumble on 44th Street featured a three-way tag team match for the STRONG Openweight Tag Team Championships, with the LA Dojo & DKC and the Motor City Machine Guns vying for the titles against the champs Aussie Open. The match would see Alex Shelley and Chris Sabin become the newly crowned titleholders. This marks their seventh tag team honor for the former Impact champions.

Have a Nice Day, Twitter!

After Elon Musk’s $44 billion acquisition of Twitter was made official, Mick Foley bid adieu to the platform. A few days prior, the Hardcore Legend lambasted the purchase, tweeting, “I’ll be giving some serious thought to leaving Twitter for good in the near future. I do not have a good feeling about where this platform is headed.” The former WWE Champion doubled down saying, “the misinformation and hate [new ownership] seems to be encouraging…has my stomach in a knot.”

Dax Adresses FTR’s Future

FTR has had an incredible year as the reigning AAA, IWGP Heavyweight, and Ring of Honor World Tag Team Champions. Some consider this unit to be the greatest tag team of all time. One half of that team, Dax Harwood, reflected on the successes of the team from their WWE & AEW triumphs, to where they are now, and thanking fans for following them over the years, and said he “can’t wait for One Last Run.”
