On AEW Dynamite, a World Tag Team Championship three-team match between Swerve In Our Glory (Keith Lee and Swerve Strickland), Powerhouse Hobbs with “Absolute” Ricky Starks, and two-time champs The Young Bucks capped night one of its Fyter Fest show. The steady-paced match would heat up toward the end to the point where it was anyone’s guess as to who would win. Ultimately, it would be a stomp off the top rope from Strickland to wrap up the battle, and three seconds later, the former WWE stars struck gold in the AEW World Tag Team Championships. For fans concerned over Lee’s treatment in his current company, this dub should hopefully quell their fears.

SASHA’S FIRST APPEARANCE ANNOUNCED
For the first time since her Monday Night RAW walkout, Sasha Banks (whose real name is Mercedes Varnado) will be coming out of the shadows when she appears as a guest of the 2022 Chicago Comic & Entertainment Expo. Rumors of her WWE status have been ongoing on social media, with reports of her being in and out of the internal roster and her lawyers getting involved with negotiating her release following her walkout on RAW over creative differences between herself and WWE. We shall see what happens either from the company or the woman herself. The “Mandalorian” star is scheduled to appear at C2E2 on August 6 & 7.

WWE GOING TV-14 SOON?
On Thursday, June 14, it was reported by Andrew Zarian that WWE would bring back TV-14 programming, starting with RAW on July 18. However, on that same day, it was revised to say that the company is considering going back to TV-14 but that it wouldn’t necessarily do so this Monday. WWE programming maintained a family-friendly rating during the '80s and '90s until competition from then-rival promotion World Championship Wrestling (WCW) forced them to switch to more mature content in 1997. TV-14 programming would last until 2008, when WWE went back to PG, much to the chagrin of fans that would ultimately decline over time.
