Heading into the All-Star break, teams are looking to secure one of seven spots, which include a first-round bye, in the 2022 PLL playoffs. Currently atop the PLL are the Atlas (4-1), followed by the Chrome (4-1), Whipsnakes (4-1), and Archers (3-2). Still in the hunt are the Waterdogs (2-3), Redwoods (1-4), Cannons (1-4), and Chaos (1-4). The Atlas and Chrome have looked dominant all season, but with the return of Josh Byrne, Dhane Smith, Chris Cloutier, Chase Fraser, and Ian McKay from the NLL (National Lacrosse League), the Chaos will look to make a late push.

The Waterdogs look to carry their two-game winning streak past the All-Star break as they handed two-time champion Whipsnakes their first loss of the season in Minneapolis. In addition, a few key players have dominated the first half of the season. Will Manny of Archers LC, who is No. 9 on the all-time points leaderboard, leads the league in points and is tied for the lead in one-point goals. Co-leading in one-point goals are Jeff Teat and Logan Wisnauskas, the latter being hot off a national championship and the Tewaaraton award in college.
