Hard to Kill Results
A critically acclaimed and sold out event in Atlanta, Impact Wrestling’s Hard to Kill event was a great show to start the new year both for the company and wrestling fans. The show saw Josh Alexander retain his Impact World Title against Bully Ray in Full Metal Mayhem, a show-stealing match between Jonathan Gresham and Eddie Edwards, with the latter picking up the win, and Mickie James ending her “Last Rodeo” in triumph as she became the Knockouts World Champion by defeating Jordynne Grace.
Drama in the Dub
The sale of World Wrestling Entertainment has been nothing short of tumultuous. The promotion’s founder Vince McMahon has returned as Executive Chairman, Stephanie McMahon resigns as Co-CEO, leaving Nick Khan as the sole officer, and rumors of WWE being sold to the Saudi Arabia Public Investment Fund that were ultimately debunked, have persuaded the public to question their fandom for the company. We will see how this issue plays out, especially since TV deals for USA Network and FOX are coming up.

Former NXT Women’s Champion Mandy Rose has broken her silence following her WWE release due to her private adult page. During an interview with Tamron Hall, she acknowledged that she was “hurt” by the company’s decision. On Twitter, she released posted a quote saying,
