The American RMR for the PGL Copenhagen starts this weekend and features teams from across both the American continents both South and North.

The RMR includes 16 teams with only five of them being able to make the major with there being no Last Chance Qualifier for the American region. The favorites out of the region include Liquid, FURIA and Complexity with the last two spots being up for grabs with many leaning towards M80 or Nouns to take one of the remaining two spots.

If FURIA has another disappointing showing and does not qualify for the major then major roster changes will definitely be coming for the Brazilian team. The RMR features a lot of teams that have not been to a major either ever or in a long time like NRG and Imperial.

My underdog picks for the event that could make a splash and qualify for the major are NRG, BOSS, Wildcard and BESTIA. All of these teams have shown great potential in the journey to making it to the RMR and being able to compete for a spot in the first Major of Counter-Strike 2.

This will be the final RMR that will cement the last five teams that will make the major. After this event, the major will be divided into different parts sending teams to the Opening Stage and putting them in three groups based on their rankings and performances in the RMRs.

Many viewers will be rooting for teams with good logos as a lot of players enjoy the stickers that come to the game that accompany every major. This sways peoples opinions on the event to hope for players with good signatures and teams with good logos solely for the stickers that will come into the game during the major.
