Patricio O-Ward Signs Arrow McLaren Contract Extension
Patricio O’Ward, Arrow McLaren driver for the NTT IndyCar Series, announced a multi-year contract extension worth $10.2 million.

O’Ward has been one of the strongest drivers on track having finished fourth in the 2023 NTT IndyCar Series championship. Of his 72 starts, 64 being with the Arrow McLaren team, O’Ward has secured four career wins, five poles, and twenty podiums finishes.
The 24 year old said of extension, “I couldn’t be more excited to sign this deal with the team. McLaren has become home for me, and I am proud that I’ll be racing in papaya for a few more years at least.”

The Mexican racing driver has also been making his mark in the F1 world after having reached his points threshold for acquiring the FIA super license needed to race. O’Ward is McLaren’s F1 reserve driver alongside Ryo Hirakawa for the 2024 season.
