The Triple Threader - feb. 27, 2023

Welcome to the Triple Threader, where we cover three stories from the world of pro wrestling.

No Surrender Results

This past Friday’s No Surrender event took place in front of a sold-out Las Vegas crowd. The show saw an entertaining show that included Mickie James successfully defending her Knockouts World Title against Masha Slamovich in a tongue biting matchup, and Josh Alexander retain his Impact World Championship against former champ Rich Swann.

Honor is Back!

This weekend saw Ring of Honor tapings take place in Universal Studios in Orlando, Florida, with shows to be edited and streamed on HonorClub, the promotion’s own VOD service. These will be the first non-pay-per-view events to take place since Tony Khan, who is the owner and CEO of All Elite Wrestling, bought ROH last April.

The Saga Continues…

This past Friday on SmackDown, Jimmy Uso tries to get through his brother Jey when Sami Zayn abruptly appears, attempting to reason with the Tag Team Champion. The latter aforementioned twin arrives through when things suddenly implode, culminating in Sami hitting Jimmy with a Helluva Kick and Jey looking on.
