Crossing the (Blood)Line

On this past Friday’s WWE SmackDown, Jey Uso had two choices following the Bloodline excommunication of his brother Jimmy: fall in line alongside Roman Reigns and Solo Sikoa, or join his sibling to likely suffer the wrath of the Tribal Chief and his enforcer. Both Roman (who is the Usos’ cousin) and Jimmy made their final pleas, which then led to Jey unloading an emotional speech, mostly aimed at his brother. Jey’s final words were “…guess what? You out! And I’m out too,” before immediately superkicking the Undisputed Champion and Solo. With The Usos together again, they are set to face Roman and Solo in a tag team match dubbed the “Bloodline Civil War” at Money in the Bank on July 1 in London, England.

CM Punk’s Not Dead

This past Saturday, AEW debuted their new show Collision where CM Punk made his first appearance since the infamous brawl after All Out last year. Unapologetic on his new run, the former world champion took subtle shots at several folks, (in particular, AEW EVP’s the Young Bucks, who were involved in said incident) while acknowledging his polarizing influence on not just AEW, but the wrestling world overall. His night culminated with him and FTR picking up a win over Samoa Joe, Juice Robinson, and Jay White. The new show also saw Luchasaurus become the new TNT Champion by defeating Wardlow.

The Maverick Returns

For the first time since his match with Seth “Freakin’” Rollins at WrestleMania, Logan Paul makes his return to RAW tonight. The YouTuber and combat athlete signed with WWE last June after making some appearances with the company in 2021. His wrestling debut was as part of a tag team with The Miz in a winning effort over Rey and Dominik Mysterio.
