'Cocks Go Back-to-Back

Oh man, oh man, they did it again. The South Carolina Gamecocks are back-to-back MCLA National Champions. The repeat title is the first in Division I since Colorado State repeated in 2012-13.

The cardiac Cocks competed all season with many close games, including the national championship win against in-conference rival Georgia Tech.

Despite a back and forth competition throughout the game, the Gamecocks jumped off to an early start thanks to Championship MVP Sam Weis, and they did not look back. Weis would finish with three goals and two assists. (Some questionable officiating also demoralized the Yellowjackets as well.) The Cocks would hold the lead wire to wire, even with failure finding the back of the net near the end of the game.

The reception for the victory is tremendous as the Capstone was lit in garnet, and all university higher ups, including varsity athletics, have been congratulating the team for their victory. Let us say Barstool South Carolina is having a field day on social media.

Congratulations to the Gamecocks once again. Forever to Thee.
