The news wrestling fans have waited for years has become a reality. Paul Levesque, better known as Triple H, will be the head of WWE creative, adding to the biggest executive shakeup in WWE history. All within a few days: Vince McMahon announced his retirement on Twitter amid sexual misconduct allegations, and Nick Khan and Stephanie McMahon were named CO-CEOs.

Triple H officially returned last week to WWE, becoming the Executive Vice President of Talent Relations after dealing with several health issues. Now, Triple H will have his hands full with complete control of WWE Creative. Paul responded to his return through Twitter.

The sudden change at the top will bring about a new direction that WWE fans hope is for the better. WWE Creative has been under scrutiny for years generating record low viewership time and time again. However, the creative mind of Triple H is highlighted through his work outside the ring, innovating an entire developmental branch known as NXT. With Triple H at the forefront of NXT, the brand created some of the best wrestling and storylines in North America and the world. With rich character development, a great tag-team division, a great commentary team, and great in-ring wrestling, the brilliance of NXT is undeniable.

Triple H becoming the new head of Creative came before a big episode of Monday Night Raw at Madison Square Garden. The show at MSG is the go-home Raw before the summer's biggest party known as SummerSlam. The company's new shift will occur during one of the big four pay-per-views, possibly creating sudden change. The wrestling world will sit back and watch if the creative mind of Triple H is the reset WWE needed to bring back fans.
