Uncasville, CT (PSF)- The reigning champion Las Vegas Aces were handed their first loss of the season against the Connecticut Sun in Thursday's WNBA matchup. Prior to this game the Aces had not scored less than 84 points in a match up all season, and had yet to allow their opponent to score more than 90. The Aces had four players score more than 10 points, but it wasn’t enough to stop the Sun and DeWanna Bonner.

Bonner had only scored 5 points when these two teams faced off on Tuesday, but had a monstrous performance their second time around. Setting a single-game scoring record for the franchise, as well as a career-high 41 points, Bonner showed up against the Aces.

Both teams are looking ahead to this Sunday where the Sun will be trying to carry some of this momentum against the Atlanta Dream. While the Aces will be facing off against the Chicago Sky as they try to bounce back from the end of their win streak. The Aces and Sun will face off again on July 1st.
