Phillies Clinch 3rd Straight Playoff Berth

With the Phillies win tonight against the Mets, the Phillies clinch their 3rd straight playoff berth. They win tonight's game 12-2 and really do a great job of shutting down a red hot New York team. With a 6 run 4th inning and a dominant start from Christopher Sanches the Phillies are able to capture the W. The Phillies are looking to carry over some momentum from the regular season to the playoffs that are coming up very soon. Philadelphia is known around the league as the toughest spot for opposing teams to play at and if the phillies are able to ride the momentum and have the fans with them nothing is stopping them. A great start to this momentum would be to win out the rest of the series with the Mets which would put them one game away from clinching the NL East.
