2021 Postseason Predictions

NLDS:

Dodgers vs. Giants

Dodgers win the series 3-2

Maybe this is just the Dodger bias in my heart but I truly believe that the Dodgers are a better team than the Giants this year. I think the rotation will carry this Dodger team all the way through the playoffs and it will overwhelm teams as it has all year long. I think this series goes the distance with a slight edge to the Dodgers just because they have more postseason experience than most of the Giants players.

Braves vs Brewers

Brewers win 3-0

I think this series will be no issue for the Brew Crew, the 3 headed monster of Burnes, Peralta and Woodruff will dominate the Braves. And with the Braves relatively average pitching staff and subpar bullpen I think they stand no chance against a pretty strong brewer offense.

ALDS:

White Sox vs Astros

Astros win 3-2

I think these are 2 very evenly matched teams but there is one thing that will propel Houston over the top. And that is there strong playoff experience, an experience that most Sox players don’t have.

NLCS

Dodgers vs Brewers

4-2 Dodgers

In this series it will be a pitchers duel essentially every game but the Dodgers are just so well built to succeed I think they’ll take this series in 6. If the Brewers want any chance to win their pitching staff will have to be perfect which is possible but very unlikely.

ALCS

World Series:

Dodgers vs Astros

Dodgers win 4-3

If this series happens this will be the most hyped up World Series in years. A rematch of 2017 post cheating scandal. Since 2020 these teams have split season series both years and have played each other perfectly even. But in a series that goes the distance I think Walker Buehler will continue to prove that he is the best big game pitcher in baseball and the Dodgers will get the win.
